Marnhull Fest
A non-profit organisation run by locals who volunteer and give their time to organise village events! Monies raised from events organised by the committee are used to fund future events and distributed between village clubs and charities.
Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival
Cheese Festival with 70+ traditional food stalls, 80+ craft stalls, real ale and real cider tents. Live music, cider from local cider makers, Morris dancing, children’s entertainment and of course plenty of cheese making, cheese tasting, cookery demonstrations and cheese related events.

The Crown Inn

The Ship Inn at West Stour
The Ship is a proper country pub, and as such has a number of traditional features mixed with plenty of modern touches. They offer a variety of quality dishes using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The bar serves a varied & interesting selection of real ales, beers, traditional ciders and wines, while their accommodation offers five comfortable en-suite rooms.
